You fly between four exceptional areas so the days go to wildlife, not transfers: three nights at Mara Plains Camp, northern Samburu for the Special Five and a chance of African wild dogs, Solio for some of Kenya’s best rhino viewing, and Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a pioneer of community conservation.
Arrive in Nairobi
Meet-and-greet at JKIA and transfer to Ole Sereni Hotel on the edge of Nairobi National Park. The rest of the day is yours.
Fly to the Maasai Mara
A flight to the Mara and transfer to Mara Plains Camp, crossing the river and walking through riverine forest onto the open plains.

Game drives through the northern Serengeti ecosystem, famous for the wildebeest migration and dense wildlife all year.

Another day on the plains, with an optional visit to a Maasai village.
Fly to Samburu
A flight from Olare Motorogi airstrip to Samburu and transfer to Ashnil Samburu Camp in Buffalo Springs, with a visit to a Samburu homestead.

Explore the arid north for the Samburu Special Five and a chance to see endangered African wild dogs.
Charter to Solio
A charter flight to Solio Private Game Reserve, one of Kenya’s great rhino sanctuaries, with an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Solio Lodge.
Solio
Choose from guided walks, mountain biking, horse riding, trout fishing in Aberdare streams or a night game drive. A helicopter picnic on Mount Kenya can be added.
Fly to Lewa
A short flight to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, home to big cats, elephants and both black and white rhinos, with an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Lewa Safari Camp.
Lewa
Game drives and guided walks among Lewa’s northern species, finishing with sundowners.
Return to Nairobi
A flight back to Nairobi, a reserved dayroom to rest and freshen up, then a transfer to JKIA.
