East Africa’s great parks in one unhurried, privately guided loop. You begin with boat and walking safaris at Lake Naivasha and flamingos at Lake Nakuru, spend two days in the Maasai Mara, cross into Tanzania for the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, and return through Namanga for Amboseli. We take care of both border crossings, so all you do is look out of the window.
Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
A 2–3 hour drive into the Rift Valley, then an afternoon boat safari among hippos and birdlife. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Resort.
Crescent Island & Lake Nakuru
A walking safari among giraffe and zebra on Crescent Island, then on to Lake Nakuru National Park for flamingos, rhinos and an evening game drive. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Lake Nakuru to the Maasai Mara
A 5–6 hour drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, with an afternoon game drive on arrival. Overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Camp.
A full day in the Maasai Mara
A full day with no time limit, looking for black-maned lions, cheetahs and the rest of the Big Five, with a packed lunch on the plains.
Into Tanzania: the Serengeti
Cross the border at Isebania and continue into Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Kenzani Migration Camp.

A full day on the Serengeti plains, following the big cats and the herds wherever the season has taken them.
The Serengeti
A second full day in the park to explore further, from the kopjes to the riverine forest.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
A final Serengeti drive, optional stops at Olduvai Gorge or a Maasai village, then an afternoon descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. Overnight at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
An early-morning crater game drive, then on to Arusha with a free afternoon for markets and local culture. Overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge.
Arusha to Amboseli
Cross back into Kenya at Namanga and arrive in Amboseli for an afternoon among elephants with Kilimanjaro behind them. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.
A full day in Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game drives across the swamps and plains of Amboseli.
Amboseli to Nairobi
A last early game drive, breakfast and an optional Maasai village visit before the drive back to Nairobi.
